BIOPSY CONTAINER

Brj is a container pre-filled with 4 % p/v formaldehyde for the storage and trasport of histological samples and biopsies.


Brj combines ease of use with the capacity to protect the user from the toxic aspects of formaldehyde.

AS PER REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008 (LAST VERSION 14th NOV 2020) OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL: FORMALDEHYDE IS DECLARED CARCINOGENIC CLASS 1B AND MUTAGENIC CLASS 2.AS PER DIRECTIVE 2004/37/EC (LAST VERSION 26th JUL 2019) OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL: the employer shall ensure that the carcinogen or mutagen is, in so far as is technically possible, manufactured and used in a closed system.

The Brj presents itself as a very compact system. 

Thanks to its innovative operating principle,
the sample collected is brought into contact with the formaldehyde
by simply pressing the button on the cap of the Brj.

The QR code placed on the label gives access to the Brj's
multimedia contents of instructions, certificates and
informative videos.
